Three Jack Howell rods. Just wondering, does anyone on the Forum have even one? Much rarer than my Dickerson trips.

Meet the Constables.
From left to right they are; Wallop Brook 7'6" 5wt staggered, The Empress 8' 4/5wt, Wallop Brook, 6'9" 4wt staggered, Dual, 6'9" 4wt staggered & Dual 6' 3wt staggered. The Dual was sold with two butts of different lengths and one or two tips (in this case two tips), Dart 5'9" 3/4wt.

tbc1415, I just think the cork reel seats are so beautiful - whether dual sliding band, down locking sliding band, down locking screw...... whatever. Simple, practical/functional and eloquent. Absolute classic design!

I like cork seats especially on lighter rods but mostly I really like sliding rings either dual or down lock with a socket cap.

Not fancy but someone may be interested. The rods are all 8 1/2 ft., 3/2 Montagues. The two on the right have 16 and 10.5 ferrules and the one on the left has 15 and 9.5 ferrules. Note that the one on the right has longer slides than the other 16, 10.5 ferruled rod.

Here's my fishing related trio. Cedar strip canoes, lengths are 15, 14 and 13 feet. The 13 footer still needs some work, varnish, decks and seat.

WOW! Silver Rat, those canoes are gorgeous! Such craftsmanship! Tell us about the construction technique. Would there be any chance you have pics of the process as you built them? I am sure that lots of our members are fascinated by your work!
Thanks so much,
Steve
