Going through my trout fishing trips, I found that these were the reels I used the most from 2011 to 2015:

1. Orvis CFO III

2. Hardy Marquis 4

3. Pflueger Medalist 1492 and J.W. Young & Sons Beaudex 3"

4. Pflueger Medalist 1494

5. Hardy Prince 5/6

That's actually six reels, but who's counting :) .

Peerless 2A
Hardy Bougle Mk IV
Ross San Miguel 1
Ross Evo
Abel 5N

Added a NOEL 150, Godfrey Paradigm 30th Anniversary Ausable and a Ross San Miguel 2 over the past 18 months which should displace a couple of the above.

Quash, anyone, this is stamped in my 3" St. George, can you identify?

If the question refers to the mysterious 'S', I'd be interested, too...have by now 3 reels (two Salmon Perfects, 1 St George) with that stamp, all of them 1920-ish....

While some of you might disagree, I believe these reels were made to fish with not to be enclosed in a glass cabinet.

well, the glass cabinet is great when you're not fishing them
