Dear All,
Greetings and allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wirianto Ng, a new member and have acquired an used classic fly reel with 'made in England' marking on the spool. However, no brand or manufacturer name on the back of the reel. Appreciate any help in identifying this reel, year of production and current value of the reel in this condition. Thanks in advance.

#4you're welcome
btw, Heaton only sold wholesale. Made in England stamp suggests an export reel, and it was most likely exported by S. Allcock Co. Can't find it now, but had pieces of the 1917 Allcock catalog, and it was listed there (by an Allcock model no.).

I acquired this reel (together with other classic ones) from a seller in USA. Hence, you are right. Perhaps this reel was imported. I cleaned, oiled and greased all my classic reels during my free time, including this one. Thanks once again for your additional info regarding the above .
