I’m going to be using this S handled JVH Leonard Raised Pillar Salmon reel 3some on the Restigouche in June. I’ve paired them with a Sharpes spliced 12, 13, and 14 footer and I’m going to use silk line which will let me feel every nuance of the duel. I’m hoping for an epic season and to renew my passion for salmon angling.
Regards....Jim

St. George to the front, with a 7' Leonard. Last December on a California Sierra creek. Treacherous footing, deep drifts at streamside. No fish on this day, but the air was super fresh and sweet, a 50 degree day, and it was exhilarating to be there.

Darrell, lovely photo and outfit. I was thinking along the same lines, Leonard 38ACM and a St. George Junior.
