Don't see much about him on any of the forums.
Anyone own and fish any of his rods and have any comments on them?

He's based rods on all kinds of tapers with lots of cosmetic variation. While he's probably based more pieces off Dickerson tapers, he's used Payne
and several Thomas tapers as well. His constant is probably consistant construction quality and a high level of finnish. What kind of info are you looking
for?

I own two of Daryll's rods. An 8 foot, 2 piece, 6 weight Heavy Trout model. Daryll describes his rod actions as medium progressive. I think this rod is
a little stiffer than medium. An excellent rod for bushy flies on windy days. One of my favorite rods. This is a presentation model with all of the
engraving. Daryll's finish work is impeccable.
The second rod is a 7 foot, 2/2 4 weight Light Trout model. This rod has a medium progressive action. A custom model in blonde cane with the reel seat engraved. IMHO you can't go wrong with Daryll's rods. Some may think they are a little fancy but I've found they are outstanding fishing instruments. Those old fishermen: They're slow-moving and crabby and some of them talk to themselves, but they can catch trout.
