Posts: 1 04/06/2009 11:32	Tags : None Hello, this is my first post so please forgive any abruptness. I just began fly fishing last season. I have a coworker who is looking to sell a bamboo fly rod that belonged to his father. He told me the rod is marked with one name "Meadowbrook". However I cannot find any information on the maker. I have yet to see the rod so I do not have any information as to the size or condition but would like to know if it's worth pursuing. I would very much appreciate if anyone can provide any information as to the maker in addition to what condition issues I should be aware of as well as value. Thank you.

Posts: 132 04/06/2009 19:19	There is one on Ebay number #130298436649 "Meadowbrook" seller lists it as a "Montaque/chubb. I own an identical rod. Not a high quality rod , pretty soft flexing. I paid about $100 for mine which is in perfect condition. A nice wall hanger , but I guess it could be fished.
