My wife and I just got back from the Bamboo Rod Fair in Oregon where we had a table. What a fun event. There was a pretty good turn out and I got to meet
several people whom I had only talked to on the phone, like Jim Adams, Ward Tonsfeld and Dan Dixon. Many a bamboo rod was cast over the two day event but I
really did not see much money changing hands.
I had a table of rods by Curt Elder which were very well received but only managed to sell one. Still, it was a beautiful setting at Camp Sherman and there were a lot of like minded people there. We plan on attending again next year too. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in fly tackle and bamboo rods in particular. Thanks to Roger for putting on such a great event.
