I wonder where you have it from. This is a very rare Brunner rod. Not many around I would guess for measuring...
Have you built one already? How would you describe it? |

Tips 0 0.072 5 0.089 10 0.108 15 0.126 20 0.142 25 0.155 30 0.169 35 0.172 40 0.185 45 0.185 Butt 0 0.198 5 0.208 10 0.218 15 0.222 20 0.233 25 0.250 30 0.268 35 0.271 40 0.272 45 0.272 I would be very interested in seeing the other taper as these tapers were "tweaked" over time.

Where do you exactly take point "0" in the butt? How many lenght from ferrule end? What´s the ferrule lenght? Many thanks, Jam |

The bottom graph shows were the rod flexes most. The higher the reading the more the rod flexes at those points

Hi All;
Looking at the rod taper I would call it a 4/5 wt strong tipped parabolic. Most of the bend or flex will be in the butt and the heavy tip should make it slow acting like a Para. Bob N |

I built this rod and it is strongly parabolic. One must be very used to it. For Brunner is an unusual taper. Regards Edgar |
