Sure , happy to share. The taper is Lee Wulff. The real seat was an e-bay find Cast aluminum rings w/ burl maple insert. The wraps are Dark Green size A
nylon and finished with thinned flexcoat. Furrels are nickle silver. The snake guides are S/S. ..........Ed

Update on the Lee Wulff taper | #4 | ||

Pictured below is a nice brown caught (and released ) on this little stick. Bigger ones to come.....all in due time. Very pleased with the rods casting action
and ability to fight the big un's..........Ed

You should have just kept that brown. Its chances of survival after lying in the mud like that are slim to none!!

Fish is Fine | #8 | ||
|
That pic took 1 second and the fish was released with no damage. It looks worse than it is .there were no damages to the fish a leaf of two on it is what you
see. I watched that brown speed away after holding it for a couple seconds in the water. Unfortunately when your by yourself it's hard to take a pic
without taking the fish out of the water.......believe me if I didnt think it would survive I would have kept it...Ed

Fish is not fine | #9 | ||
|
It had obviously flopped in the detritus of leaves, sand, and silt. Thus compromising the majority of its protective slime.
It may have swam away just fine, but the odds of it surviving are very slim. I'm not trying to browbeat or berate anyone; however, these types of pictures are at the very least, disturbing..........to me anyway. Bob Go Heels!!! |
