bamboo class in oregon |

hi all i am new to this forum and very new to bamboo rods. have built up lots of graphite rods but seems that is more of a assembly rather then build job. so i
am thinking a class is the way to go for me as i need all the help i can get. is there only the bellinger class in oregon or are there others? thanks for any
help and a great site to read.

Hi Pat,
The guys at Bellinger are great and you would learn much in their class. We're not in Oregon, but Bob Nunley and I operate the Ozark Rod Makers School in northwest Arkansas. Our September class is full, but we're offering another full class in November, and a class on making bamboo rod blanks in October. Pat, what part of Oregon are you in?
The Bellinger class is a good one, Chet, Joe, Bill and Daryl will take good care of you. If you're in the valley or on the west side, it's nice to have the resource that's available at Bellinger. |

hi pat.i am in west linn,i do not do classes but i like helping the new guys get started,any questions you have about building bamboo rods i think i could help

stopped by bellinger today and had one of the best days of my vacation so far. they are a great couple of guys and very enthusiastic about rod building, cannot
wait to start there class in february hopefully, the dickerson taper rod they let me cast was absolutely amazing!!!! only problem was i had such a good time i
forgot to ask if there was any fishing near there :]

The South Santiam is about a 20 minute drive from the shop. There's also the Calapooia...
