Well, that's why I only went out during daylight
There is usually only a limited amount of damage that can be done by dull or stupid people.
For creating a truly monumental disaster, you need people with high IQs. |

I am almost 33% with Andre - I drive a 4 door Alpina B3S that took 2 years to find (there are only 15 of them in the UK).
Top end is claimed 170 - one day I will get it onto a German A-bahn and check I have never been late fishing yet.
Just about to fit the optional 'Ski Bag' which will hold my 9' 2/2 rod tubes out of sight.

Mike,
The lights work but the wipers on the drivers side don't. I am selective about when I drive the Explorer. 250,000 miles or so on it. |

The left rear tail light lens finally got fixed after we threatened to stock it with chubbs. It constantly held close to a quart of water! Go figure. Brook Trout are God's way of reminding us everything is going to be all right. |

Pat,
Nice truck -- I was surprised to see so many posts before seeing an F-150. Perhaps the most prevalent vehicle on the road. Dennis |

Dennis;
Probably my favorite fishing vehicle ever. LOTS of room inside and out and 4 wheel drive when I hit some of those "two-track roads." It's no porche or 'vette but I don't worry about getting back to the main road when I hit some of the water I prefer to fish.

The best car I ever had and my "fishing vehicle" nowadays. I bought it with around 200 000 km on the clock when our first child was born 5 years ago.
I paid a silly 3000 EURO for it.
Another 2 children and an extra 100 000 kilometers later I had to buy a van for the family but couldn´t part with my good old Mercedes. It´s still going fast and strong, has plenty of space for rods, gear and friends and the black leather seats are an excellent drying space for my silk lines when I drive home after a summer´s day of fishing. First image is in the Austrian Alps near Innsbruck, the second was taken on our anual salmon trip to Norway. Cheers, Andy

Not a Diesel - it´s a 3 litre, 6-cylinder 24-valve gasoline engine. It is listed with some 220 horse powers, so it does move quite vividly when you put the
pedal to the metal...
In fact, this very engine was the basis for the first AMG Mercedes, many years ago. Andy |

Hey Kermit, Good for you, thats AWESOME!! I sold my Jeep last year. I had a 93 Jeep TJ with original soft top and soft windows(looked awesome with the top and
windows off!)Little tip, if you ever use a belly boat and think you now dont have the room, buy a bike rack that fits in the receiver on your back bumper and a
couple of bundji straps and your set. I sold it because it wasn't ideal for a Saskatchewan winter where I commute 20min. with the wind and snow blowing in
my side windows. REALLY MISS MY JEEP. I now have a 2001 Ford F150 4by4(black), big mud tires for my fishing vehicle.Someday I will get another jeep. Hard to
live without once youv'e had one! 40 years was worth it,yours is GREAT!! WLYBGR.

Whenever I am with my grandpa (A man I look up to more
than anyone besides my own father) we take the "jeep". Its a 1943 ex-navy jeep. as you can see it has been through some rough spots and has had a
few paint jobs but it is still running great. IT has NEVER left us stranded and we can go just about anywhere in that thing. The odometer says 36,000 but I
am sure it has turned over many times in its lifetime. When I think of fishing I think of this jeep! In the picture is myself behind the wheel, my sister and
my son.

I was going through photos this morning and came across this one taken at a forum outing in Centre County, Pennsylvania in September, 2007. It looks like a
Subaru dealership--Spruce Grouse's, Bill Taylor's and Rolf Jacobsen's wagons:
