Actually I believe they are the most common ones, if you could call it that.
I had an 8' 3pce 5wt I purchased from Glenn in 1984 and that may have been the first he made. The bamboo work of course was perfect. I believe someone in Italy ordered it but never coughed up the $. I sold it a few years later as I thought it was rather loggy with an overly powerful butt. I don't believe I saw any other 3pce Winstons from SF era although I am certainly no expert. I am a great fan of older Winston SF era fly rods. |

I think they were special order - at least my three piece was. I have a quad 3 pc - one of only three in the length. You should call Glenn at Sweetgrass as
he would have a better idea.
