I just picked up a 3 3/8 Dingley perfect with brass line guard and the works. I was wondering what the value of this reel might be. I will post pictures when
I get a chance. It is much like the one in the picture but with the plate and screw. Thanks for your responses.

My estimate would be $400-$425 depending on condition (i.e. amount of leading still present, any filing to foot, wobble, etc.). I had a similar 3 3/8"
Dingley perfect with no line guard and a fair amount of finish left for sale a while back and had some interest but no takers at $375 shipped. Also, if it is
badged WH Dingley on the winding plate, that would command more money too from looking at previous sales.

And she's a nice one!! I don't keep up very well with the "larger" size D's values, but I'm sure others will chime in. It should be
north of 500$ imho.

the reel looks all correct to me from your pictures , just needs some badly TLC , i also think if it was cleaned up and the nicks and burns smooth out , it to
me would be $500 and up if the right buyer wanted it , what your reel needs is a ''rich's day spa treatment'' and she'd look like a
true gem that she really is
