Anyone know if this configuration came in an 8ft 5wt 3/2 ?

anyone fish one in this size ? I am also looking at getting a old reel and silk line to match and balance it what do you think my best bets are ?

I love my 8' 2f Black Beauty. I cast it once alongside an E.W. Edwards Weber Henshall 8 footer, and I thought it compared well. The Beauty was faster
action, but a bit less.. refined? An all-around rod. I use an HEH (I think, never weighed it) braided nylon line that works well.
I like mine best aesthetically with a later Heddon 125 Imperial. The black of the reel goes well with the black of the tenite realseat. And heddon/heddon is a no-brainer rig. An early round line guard medalist 1494 would be another good choice. Last I checked, Bamboo Mike had one of these for sale. Jim |
