Hello all. I was trying to check out Streamers (Abrams) website. Google search suggests that it is housatonicrods.com. However, computer says to stay away
from that website because of serious virus issues. Is that the correct site? Anyone know what's going on?

That's the correct URL but I just tried it and it made my browser (IE 7) shut down as it requested to load a "Flash10.ocx" file. Not sure what is going on, but I have accessed the site before with no problems. Perhaps there is a cached version available for viewing. I tried to link to a cached page(unsuccessfully), but do a yahoo search on housatonic rods and there will be an option to load a cached page for each hit in the search results. This should bring up a fairly recent version with photos, etc. Good luck- Creg

Might depend too on whether you're accessing from a Windows or Mac machine.

Streamer got it back up yesterday. I just tried it with Firefox 3.5.5 and it seems to be fine.

Be advised: A warning to stay away from that site is completely justified. A visit could end up costing you a lot of money, although you'll never regret it. Proceed with caution and good luck. Regards, Bill Lambot |
