I've owned one of the reels, and the ones from Zhu were decently-made as well as nice looking. We've had a few discussions on the forum about the
reels, rods, and lines from Zhu, so you could probably find a bunch of info by searching the forum. If I wanted another classic looking reel at a very good
price, I'd definitely consider getting another one from Zhu.

Some days, it's not even worth chewing through the restraints.
I buy Chinese everything mainly because you have to. There's so much of it and it's filling up the landfills. I draw the line however, with fishing
tackle (except for Tonkin culms of course).
I think the stigma about Chinese made goods is their own fault. They have shown a total absence of scruples, morals, and business ethics of any kind in their
production of goods. I am reminded of the poisonous powdered baby formula scandal, the present situation of Florida homeowners and their Chinese made drywall
that emits toxic fumes that eat plumbing pipes and electrical wireing in walls, and don't forget that they are the biggest manufacturers of counterfiet
brand label products on earth. Mr. Zhu might be the exception to the rule, but the fact that they have blatantly stolen the names of living rodmakers and
slapped them on their own rods gives me a very sour opinion of their fishing tackle.
