I'm coming east, first week of April, and am looking for contemp. fly-t ying advice. (Where to go would be cool.) I've fished the East, but it was
Poconos, Catskills, northern NJ and Long Island trout parks -- I'm starting in Washington, then driving to Philly -- then I'm free to fish anywheres.
I may hook with a few from this board, some from the Northeast board of outdoorsbest, you may have heard of Fred of York, Spruce Grouse, Andre. I hope to fish with as many as have the time.
It will be early April and the Hendricksons may not be out, nor the Gordon Quills. But some have told me it depends on, 1/weather and if it's a warm spring, 2/the stream. I'm tying my usual BWOs emergers and duns (some captive and/or crippled). Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
