That's interesting Greg. I wonder how they come up with the household income stuff. I mean, there's nothing in the profiles here about it. Nothing
about our ethnicity/race either. I think they just think "bamboo fly rods, must be a bunch of old rich white guys in the US".

48% Female? Highly unlikely. While I realize that there are some women here, that seems far too high.

Kind of interesting but seems to me to be good guesses. I also checked the info on another flyfishing site I follow and similar info but as the site included
a greater range of flyfisherman they have the ages a little younger with slightly less income. Pretty easy guesses to me. And I agree...48% female...no way.
Not sure we ever did a formal pole but I would have to guess no more then 10 - 15% of the members here are female.

maybe we should start a woman's page?....I'll be the first member....Only thing is ... I've always been the tomboy and always was found outside
fishing, climbing trees/rocks.....not sure I'd enjoy a purely woman's page!

And where are these women when I'm out on the river? Still very rare to see female fly fishers. Too bad, it's such a great sport.

I'm not sure that I'd be all that comfortable with more women on the water... everytime I've seen them they were out fishing the guys... my wife
included.

Maybe that 48% number is from our women checking up on us!
You know they got their own secret hidden forum somewhere and discuss their "looney husbands" who spend too much time on Fly Fishing Forums or "Standing in a River, Waving a Stick" LOL
