Hello folks,
thanks for all the help identifying the 1919 Hardy and 1930's Heddon a few weeks ago. I have now found three more rods from the same source, but these have no markings. One is a 9'6" 3/2 bamboo fly rod that looks similar to the Heddon. It seems hardly used, the varnish has degraded in a few places and the metal parts need a polish, but the cork and reel clamp are in great shape. The only mark is patent 1916 wording on the reel clamp, which I tried looking up but seems to be a common patent reference rather than a useful identification. There is also a bamboo tube, which is only big enough to hold the tips and middle section.
The other two rods are less interesting to this group, one is a fiberglass 5' casting rod and the other is a 5' single piece heavy bamboo boat rod. I've included them in the pictures since there is no writing visible on any of these rods, and someone might know something about them.
One of the rod bags has a Hardy label on it, but I'm not sure if it goes with these rods.
Thanks in advance for any tips. All of the rods (including the Hardy and Heddon) are up for sale.
